We’ve been fighting over who gets to keep the kids. We’ve both got good jobs and don’t have any problems with drugs, alcohol, or any of that stuff, so apparently we’ve both also got a good case for custody. It looks like joint custody is going to be the way to go.

That’s reasonable, I suppose. I don’t like the idea of not seeing the kids every day, but a good, equitable joint custody plan beats having to settle for visitation rights! And fair is fair. She deserves her time with the kids, too. Fifty-fifty is way better than only seeing them on the weekends.
